Hello, I recently purchased and moved into a home in Queensland, NS. The house is 30 years old, but the foundation is more like 80 years old. The basement has concrete foundation with a gravel floor. Ceiling is 7 feet. There are some water pooling issues when it rains heavily. It looks like previous owners might have tried to have some sort of drainage system in place but it is currently not working. I am looking to have someone come out to the property/ discuss some options for the basement and rough associated costs. I understand if this currently cannot happen, however wanted to get the ball rolling! We currently have a budget of around $10,000 but are able to put move towards this project over time. We are not looking to have a completely finished basement, but would like to eventually pour a floor and have a somewhat dry and clean space for storage/ workshop.
