To provide an effective and lasting solution, our specialist recommended a combination of CleanSpace®, SilverGlo®, and TerraBlock™ encapsulation systems.
Solution
Our production team promptly arrived to carry out the project. First, they installed the CleanSpace® liner, a robust and antimicrobial treated barrier, to keep moisture away from the home’s foundation and eliminate musty odors. This durable liner is designed to outperform the typical materials used by other contractors, offering superior protection against moisture and mold.
Alongside CleanSpace®, the SilverGlo™ insulation was applied to the crawl space walls. This innovative solution not only provides excellent insulation with its R-11 rating but also enhances energy efficiency thanks to its radiant heat barrier. The SilverGlo™ insulation mitigates moisture intrusion, directing any water down to the drainage system.
Lastly, we used TerraBlock™ for the crawl space floor. This ¾” flexible insulation liner ensures additional cushioning and insulation. Its installation involved precise procedures, including sealing tapes and clips, to offer a comprehensive moisture barrier across the crawl space.
