The customer wanted to clean the crawlspace up and improve the air in the home. Ridgeback Basement Systems used the Clean Space system to encapsulate the area and improve the quality of the air in the crawlspace.
This customer had an existing sump pump that was left exposed, without a cover in her basement. The exposed sump pump caused high humidity, loud noises and flooding in their basement. The homeowners were never able to finish their basement as the pump was not discharging the water and susceptible to flooding.
We installed our clean, safe and quiet SuperSump with our Ultrasump battery back-up system, to ensure the system works during a power outage.
The homeowners were able to finish their basement and now has peace of mind that their pump will keep water out of their home.
A customer in Hammond's Plains, NS, found a crack that was leaking in their basement foundation. They wanted a quick and affordable solution, so they could finish and use the space again. After speaking with our System Design Specialist, they decided on sealing the cracks with a polyurethane polymer. Pat Johns, a Foreman, installed:
FlexiSpan Foundation Crack Repair System
Our customer was pleased that the crack was sealed in a short amount of time and on budget. They can now continue with finishing the basement.
A building foundation is the building block of the entire structure, and when compromised it can be scary and dangerous for the homeowner. The foundation wall of this home had a tree root growing through the foundation, compromising the home. With our Everbrace Wall Restoration system, we were able to save this home, as well as give the homeowners peace of mind knowing their home was supported by the best wall restoration product on the market.
This home, located in a small town just minutes away from Halifax, had an addition that was quiet literally on its last leg.
Ridgeback Basement Systems received a call from this homeowner who was interested in having us take a look at the addition portion of his home that was installed prior to him buying there.
Upon arrival, it was clear that they were in need of immediate supports put in. There was only one beam holding up this addition and it began to separate from the home. Jake, the system design specialist on this appointment, knew that SmartJacks were a must to alleviate the pressure off the sole beam in there and disperse the weight throughout the entire area.
Our production team installed SmartJacks with a galvanized supplemental beam. Not only is the home now supported, but the homeowners aren't in fear that their home is going to fall beneath them.
